DESCRIPTION:
This section outlines the prospectus of training for the apprenticeship program intended to produce aircraft technicians from the pool of general societal technicians and technologist to fill the gap for qualified personnel. This apprenticeship program is being run in collaboration with several approved maintenance organization (AMO) who are in MOU with ATT Academy. This course is themed with Course Code āCā.
TARGET GROUP AND REQUISITES:
Open to all personnel involved in technical trade such as mechanical/electrical/electronic/ fabrication and air-conditioning trade with OND/C & G or WAEC Technical certificates and with the desire or passion to translate into aircraft engineering-technician. This program is intended to be run in collaboration with industrial training fund and national directorate of employment.
DURATION:
The duration for the apprenticeship course is 12 months. ATT Academy apprenticeship program comprised of 50% class work and 50% field and practical hands-on, to achieve the best impartation of knowledge and skills within the stipulated time frame. One-month class work followed by one-month hands-on practical field experience.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The objective of the apprenticeship program is centered on the intent of;
Developing the local technicians with basic trade qualification to a standard licensed aircraft technician
Instilling safety attitude and professional practices in such aircraft technician
Effective manpower built for aircraft maintenance support in the challenging growing demand
Producing an industry- ready applicable personnel for aircraft maintenance support
